Pic-Time pricing explained (2026): plans, video add-ons and commission
Every Pic-Time plan with monthly and annual prices, what each tier unlocks, the commission rates, video add-ons and fair-use rules, and which plan 20 to 40 weddings a year needs.
Pic-Time’s pricing page shows 4 plans and a short feature list. The full table sits behind a “See All Features” button and the commission rates sit in the help center. This page puts them together. Prices are from pic-time.com/pricing and the Pic-Time help center on 12 September 2026, in US dollars. Check before you buy; plans change without much warning.
The plans
| Plan | Monthly | Billed annually | Per year | Photo storage | Video storage | Commission, Pic-Time collects | Commission, you collect |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | $0 | 10 GB (about 3,000 photos) | 1 GB | 15% | 15% |
| Beginner | $8 | $7 a month | $84 | 20 GB (about 6,000) | 5 GB (about 30 minutes) | 15% | 15% |
| Professional | $25 | $21 a month | $252 | 100 GB (about 30,000) | 30 GB (about 3 hours) | 8% | 0% |
| Advanced | $50 | $42 a month | $504 | Unlimited, fair use | 60 GB (about 6 hours) | 6% | 0% |
The photo and minute estimates are Pic-Time’s. The per-year column is our arithmetic. Every plan, including Free, has unlimited galleries, a portfolio page, a mobile app and 24/7 support. There is a 30-day trial of Advanced with no card, after which you land on Free.
What changes between tiers
Free has more than most free plans: unlimited galleries, multiple gallery styles, scenes, custom covers, hidden photos, activity tracking, Lightroom upload, sales automations, a store with more than 30 labs, coupons, gift cards, automated tax, a basic album builder, and CRM integrations with HoneyBook, Studio Ninja, Iris Works, Light Blue and Pixifi. It does not have your logo.
Beginner adds your logo and watermark, email packages and chat support for gallery visitors. Storage doubles. Commission stays at 15%.
Professional is where the plan becomes a studio tool: custom domain, Pic-Time branding removed, premium design tools (custom fonts, color palette, typography, save a gallery as a template), gallery templates, client selections, gallery pre-registration, testimonials, AI watermark protector, slideshows, blogs, the vendor network, a photographer-side AI and keyword search, art galleries and store, self-fulfillment, custom products, album proofing and third-party video embedding. Commission drops to 8%, or zero if you collect payments yourself.
Advanced adds unlimited photo storage within fair use, smart search for clients (keyword, face recognition and selfie search), the Next Gen AI album designer and multi-brand. Commission is 6%, or zero if you collect yourself.
The hidden costs
Commission on Free and Beginner is unavoidable. It is charged on your markup, not on lab cost, but it applies however you set the store up. $1,000 of markup in a year costs $150, more than Beginner costs for the year. On Professional the same markup costs $80 through Pic-Time’s checkout or nothing through your own. The rates are from a help article dated April 2025, the latest we found.
Video add-ons. When the plan’s video pool runs out you buy more, and the add-on needs an active plan.
| Add-on | Billed annually | Monthly |
|---|---|---|
| 100 GB | $10 a month | $16 |
| 1 TB | $25 a month | $42 |
| 2.5 TB | $40 a month | $66 |
| 5 TB | $60 a month | $100 |
The annual prices are marked as a 30% launch offer, so budget for the full price when it ends.
Multi-brand is $6 a month per additional brand, on Advanced only.
Fair use on Advanced. Usage above 20 GB per gallery or 100 GB of bandwidth a month may incur additional fees. It is for individual photographers; agencies need a custom plan. A 10 GB gallery downloaded 10 times is the monthly figure.
The missing middle. There is no plan between 100 GB and unlimited. Outgrow Professional and the next step is double the price.
Not on the pricing page: per-file upload limits, RAW handling, bandwidth below Advanced, and branded client apps. Ask before you rely on any of them.
Which plan for 20 to 40 weddings a year
As a rule of thumb, a finished wedding gallery of 600 to 800 full-resolution JPEGs takes 3 to 6 GB; call it 5 GB. See how much storage wedding galleries take.
- Beginner is 20 GB: 4 weddings. Not a working plan, and it pays 15% on every print.
- Professional is 100 GB: 20 weddings kept online for 12 months. It also has the logo, custom domain, no Pic-Time branding and the low commission, and its 30 GB of video covers a highlight film per wedding if each film is around 1 GB.
- Advanced is the plan if you shoot 30 to 40, keep galleries up for 2 years, or want guest face search.
For 20 to 30 weddings, Professional at $252 a year is the plan, with galleries expiring at 12 months so you stay under 100 GB. For 30 to 40 weddings with no expiry, that is 150 to 200 GB a year, and Professional does not fit; Advanced at $504 does. Do the storage math before choosing, because the jump is $252 a year.
What the free plan is missing
Your logo and watermark. Email packages and visitor chat. Premium design tools. Custom domain and Pic-Time branding removal. Any commission below 15%. Video beyond 1 GB. The 10 GB of storage is generous for a free plan, about 2 weddings, but a gallery that carries Pic-Time’s branding and not yours is a test gallery, not a delivery.
Compared with the others
Pixieset vs Pic-Time and Pic-Time vs ShootProof set these plans against the nearest rivals. In short: Pic-Time has the biggest free plan and the deepest store of the three, but it is the only one that charges commission on a paid plan, and the only one without a plan between 100 GB and unlimited.
Where FOCL fits
We make FOCL, so weigh this section accordingly. FOCL Galleries meters storage only: 3 GB free, 100 GB for $10 a month or $100 a year, 500 GB for $19 or $190, 2 TB for $39 or $390, with unlimited galleries and couples, your logo and watermark on every plan including Free, no download or bandwidth cap, hours of video on paid plans (3, 10 or 30), and the FOCL wedding-day app on the same subscription. That fills Pic-Time’s missing middle at 500 GB for $19 and puts the logo on the free plan. Pic-Time’s free plan is bigger, 10 GB against 3 GB. FOCL includes custom gallery domains with Studio and Pro. It has no CRM integrations, no sales automations, one print lab (WHCC) instead of 30, no album designer and no unlimited plan, so a print-and-album studio should stay with Pic-Time. The direct comparison is in FOCL vs Pic-Time.
