Comparison
The best client gallery for wedding photographers in 2026
Eight client gallery platforms rated on what wedding work needs: storage per dollar, video, downloads for 200 guests, favorites, privacy, print economics and planning.
We make FOCL, one of the eight products rated here, so read this with that in mind. We have named a different product wherever it wins. Every competitor fact was read from the vendor’s own pages on 12 September 2026; where we could not verify something, the table says so.
A wedding gallery has a harder job than a portrait gallery. One link goes to the couple, both sets of parents, the wedding party, most of the guest list, and a florist who wants the centerpieces. A film may sit next to the photos. Months later someone orders prints. The criteria below come from that job.
What wedding work needs from a gallery
Storage per dollar. Weddings are the largest deliveries most photographers make, and couples expect the gallery to stay up. Compare the plan nearest 100 GB, and what unlimited costs. How much storage wedding galleries take helps you size it.
Video. If you or a partner videographer deliver a film, the gallery has to host it. Check the per-file cap (a ceremony edit can run an hour), 4K support, whether video shares the photo pool, and whether it is metered by hours or gigabytes.
Download behavior for 200 guests. A wedding gallery gets opened by everyone who was there. Check whether bandwidth is capped, whether a guest can download one section on its own, whether you can put a PIN on downloads, and whether the free plan shrinks them (CloudSpot’s Free caps downloads at 2048px).
Favorites that export. Album design starts with the couple’s picks. A heart in the gallery is not enough; you need the list out as filenames or a CSV. See album design from client favorites.
Privacy layers. A password, a way to hide photos from guests but not the couple, a way for the couple to hide photos themselves, and an expiry date. Email registration before viewing doubles as lead capture.
Print store economics. The commission on your markup, whether you need your own payment gateway, whether the store exists on your plan, and how many labs you can use.
The planning side. Two things get called planning. The business side is contracts, invoices and booking. The wedding-day side is the timeline, the family photo list and the shot list. No product here does both.
The ratings
Strong means it does this well on the plan a wedding photographer would buy. Fair means a real limit, or a higher plan. Weak means missing or extra cost. Not verified means the vendor’s pages did not say, and we did not guess.

Pixieset. Plus is 100 GB for $20 a month or $16 billed annually, mid-range on this list. Video is metered by the hour (2 hours of 4K on Plus, extra hours $5 a month each), fine for a highlight film and tight for a full ceremony. Paid plans sell commission-free. The Suite, from $28 a month, adds Studio Manager; Pixieset also sells a website builder and branded client apps. Passwords, expiry dates and download PINs are covered in our head-to-head; we could not verify a bandwidth figure or a favorites export. FOCL vs Pixieset.
Pic-Time. Professional is 100 GB of photos plus 30 GB of video for $25 monthly or $21 billed annually. Video is the strength: featured videos up to 90 minutes, HD or 4K, sellable in the store, with more video storage sold by the gigabyte. Privacy is strong too: hidden photos, private galleries, pre-registration from Professional, and face and selfie search for clients on Advanced. The store takes 8% of your markup on Professional when Pic-Time collects payment, nothing if you collect it yourself. The unlimited plan has fair-use limits, including 100 GB of bandwidth a month. FOCL vs Pic-Time.
ShootProof. From 23 September 2026 Standard is 100 GB of photos and video for $19.99 monthly or $199.99 a year. Downloads are the most controllable on this list: several rules per gallery, each with its own PIN, size, per-visitor limit and Download All switch. The store is $0 commission on every plan including Free, with your own gateway. Contracts and invoices come with every paid plan. Video hosting arrives with the September plans, so we have not rated it, and its pages did not list favorites. FOCL vs ShootProof.
CloudSpot. Lite is 100 GB for $17 a month, monthly billing only, and includes the full studio manager: contracts, questionnaires, invoicing, scheduling. That is the best business-side deal here. Video is links only (YouTube, Vimeo), so a film cannot live in the gallery. Commission is 15% on Free and Entry, 0% from Lite. Its pages did not list favorites. FOCL vs CloudSpot.
Zenfolio. Professional is 150 GB for $23 a month, and every plan has a custom website, custom domain and logo, even the $9 Basic. Video streams up to 1080p (4K on Advanced) with a 60-minute, 20 GB cap per file. Favorites, comments and visitor email capture are on all plans. The store needs Professional or above, and we could not verify a commission. FOCL vs Zenfolio.
SmugMug. Direct gives unlimited full-resolution JPEG storage for $20 a month billed annually, the best per-dollar deal here if you keep everything online. Most of what a wedding photographer needs sits higher: watermarks and selling on Portfolio ($23.50 billed annually), client favoriting and full download control on Pro ($37 billed annually). SmugMug keeps 15% of your profit. Video is capped at 20 minutes and 3 GB per file, and the original is not kept. FOCL vs SmugMug.
PASS. Standard is 100 GB for $20 a month billed annually or $24 monthly; Starter is 10 GB for $1. Every plan has favorites, high and low resolution downloads, and a store with US and Canadian labs; Standard pays a 3% fee where PASS handles payment. Privacy is thin below Standard: no watermark, no logo, no pre-registration. Video is not mentioned on its pages, so ask before you rely on it. It lives at passgallery.com, not pass.gallery. FOCL vs PASS.
FOCL. Essentials is 100 GB for $10 a month or $100 a year, and downloads and bandwidth are never metered. Video on paid plans is measured in hours, 3 on Essentials, 10 on Studio and 30 on Pro, up to 30 GB per file, and downloads as the original or 1080p. Favorites come out by person or by photo, with filenames to copy and a CSV export. Privacy is layered: password, email registration, expiry, hidden photos, couple-only photos, and Couple Controls so the couple can hide photos from guests without emailing you. The planning side is the wedding day itself. The store is one lab, WHCC, with your markup over lab cost. Studio and Pro include custom gallery domains. FOCL does not include a website builder, CRM or RAW delivery. FOCL vs Pixieset is the closest head-to-head.
Picks by situation
Best if you sell a lot of prints: ShootProof. $0 commission on every plan, price sheets, packages, discount codes and abandoned cart reminders, with your own payment gateway. Pic-Time if you want more than 30 labs and an album designer and will collect payments yourself on Professional.
Best on a budget: Pic-Time free, or FOCL Essentials. At $0, Pic-Time gives the most storage, 10 GB plus 1 GB of video and a store; FOCL’s free plan is 3 GB with unlimited couples and your branding. At $10 a month, FOCL’s 100 GB is the most storage here for the money. PASS Starter is $1 for 10 GB if you can live without your logo.
Best if you also need a website: Zenfolio. A site and a custom domain on every plan from $9 a month. Pixieset if you want the site plus Studio Manager from one vendor; SmugMug Portfolio for unlimited storage under the site.
Best for video: Pic-Time. Featured videos to 90 minutes, 4K, sellable, storage by the gigabyte. FOCL is simpler if you want one meter for everything and a 30 GB per-file cap is enough.
Best if you never want to archive: SmugMug Direct. Unlimited JPEG for $20 a month billed annually.
Best if you need contracts and invoices: CloudSpot Lite. The full studio suite at $17 a month. ShootProof includes contracts and invoices on every paid plan too.
Best if you want the wedding day handled: FOCL. The same subscription runs the timeline, the family photo list and the shot list from your phone, with a couple portal that feeds them. Nothing else on this list does that.
